Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accredited Clinical Mental Health, Professional Counseling, Clinical Social Work Program, or equivalent is requiredģ years of experience in providing mental health treatment in outpatient and/or inpatient settings is preferred. Must maintain all certifications required through state and national agencies. Maintains current licensure as an LCSW or LPC in the state of Texas. The LCSW/LPC must be sensitive to issues surrounding HIV/AIDS, knowledge of cultural ethnic issues, knowledge of LGBTQ+ community, while demonstrating a non-judgmental attitude towards clients. Oversees staff assessments, diagnostic treatment and case management methods. Serves as an agency liaison to the community and other partnering agencies creates networks in the community by participating in community organizations, meetings, activities and events related to mental health. Under administrative direction, provides leadership and guidance on mental health issues, policies and programs plans, implements, organizes, directs and coordinates the Behavioral Health Program. Our Mission is to serve people living with or at risk for HIV with dignity and respect.In our community, people living will with HIV receive quality care, and new infections are rare. Annually, 42 staff members provide services and education to over 2,000 people living with HIV and prevention services to over 3,500 people in our community. Since that time, AOC has been a leader in North Texas in the fight against HIV. Today, AIDS Outreach Center (AOC) began as a grassroots organization responding to the HIV epidemic. The agency is the Southeast’s oldest, largest, and most comprehensive AIDS Service Organization. The AOC has been saving and transforming lives since its inception in 1986.
